Items that are included in a coal mining report are:

• past underground mining
• present underground mining
• proposed Underground Mining
• shaft and adits or other entries to underground coal mine workings within the property or within 20 metres of the property boundary
• surface geology – this shows if there is any fault or other line of weakness at the surface which is know to the Coal Authority that will affect the stability of the property
• past opencast mining
• present opencast mining
